gettin' ready!

We have so much happening to get ready for this year's festival! Construction has begun on a new pedestrian bridge. We will have a separate entrance just for those coming in so there will be no sharing a driveway with vehicular traffic. This will be especially important during our Balloons & Bounty weekend - to ensure everyone's safety while so many vendors/pilots/vehicles will need to be passing through the gates as well.
Construction on the new barn is also underway - insulation, sheet rock, cement floors and water will be added this season - so that we may use this building for weddings/corporate events/party rental upstairs, and multi-purpose downstairs for a new gift shop area during our season/storage for off season use.
We currently have interns working during the spring season helping to not only get many of our usual events set up for this season, but starting several new ones as well.

Farm to Fork feastival Friday Sept. 21 - featuring a vast array of all local foods from your neighboring farms! Stay tuned for our menu! Limited tickets will be available for this event. A scrumptious way to kick off our season!
Special Needs Resource Fair is getting bigger everyday! Tons of great charities will be on hand our opening weekend - meet n greet therapy and service animals, handicapped fishing derbies, pony rides and tons more!
Farm Expo weekend - come see all sorts of Ag & Rec products.
Balloons & Bounty will be Columbus Weekend once again! We're lining up wonderful pilots, bands, vendors, fireworks and other great entertainment for this long holiday weekend.
Get ready for : A Black Hat Society - a Witch's Night Out!
This will be our first women's night out. We're lining up all sorts of fun activities -- you'll want to bring out all the ghoul-friends for this event!
We'll be having lots of other events coming up for this season, and working on some new activities for the grounds...
Little Logs - Hours of childhood excitement building and rebuilding their very own life size cabin or clubhouse! And more new activities!
