 Our Staff

Wolf Oak Acres will be hiring a few dozen people to work our fall harvest festival this year. We will be looking for a wonderful crew of people friendly, family oriented individuals - who enjoy spending their fall teaching, playing, and having fun in a family oriented environment with staff and visitors of all ages, skills, and abilities.  Working at Wolf Oak Acres can be a rewarding experience.  We encourage everyone : teachers, stay-at-home moms, retirees, students, etc , to apply.  We are always looking for reliable hirees during weekends (and a small staff for weekdays).

Types of Jobs

 We will have a variety of jobs available for all skills and ages.  You'll never get bored here!  We are all about having fun - and showing our visitors a good time!  Can't stand staying in one place too long?  We can switch your job every few hours to prevent boredom! 

These are just an example of the locations you could work at each time you come in: 

Retail:  Working in retailing requires good customer service skills, an interest in selling, a friendly & outgoing personality, the ability to run a register and count money. Jobs in retailing would include our admissions booth, concessions register, and snack shack.

Custodial:  Our custodial jobs include responsibilities such as wiping down tables, checking trash cans, watering flowers, picking up liter, and cleaning restrooms. Custodians - especially those working in/near the maze, need to be familiar with the farm and its attractions and be friendly towards visitors.  They need to be organized, systematic and pay attention to details.

Attendant: Attendants work in areas such as our corn cannons, slingshots, pedal karts, etc.  They need to be good at working with small and large groups of people, providing them with instructions, and keeping an eye out for safety.

Food Service:  Our food service areas require a larger range of abilities. We look for friendly outgoing employees, that can pay attention to detail.  Multi-tasking is almost a constant in our concession booth.  From preparing foods, using the registers, counting money, and selling tickets and pumpkins - you'll definitely be kept busy!

Instructors: Our weekday school tours need individuals who love children, can keep large groups organized, conduct lots of public speaking, teach short lessons to students about agriculture and farm facts, and know how to have fun!!!

Drivers: Tractor drivers for the cow train and wagon rides, preferably over 21 with tractor experience preferred.
